Have a Bearry Christmas

Animax does a lot of work with the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation so we wanted to help promote their an online auction they are running featuring celebrities signing holiday bears. Some of your (or more likely your children's!) favorite young celebrities have teamed up to raise money for Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation through an online auction of autographed Shining Stars Holiday Bears. Visit eBay to view the complete details and the full list of participating celebrities. That list includes:

Give a one-of-a-kind gift this holiday season and bid today!

Los Rapiditos

Animax has started with the folks over at Cockeyed Character Factory on their animated property Los Rapiditos. The Rapiditos are a cute little gang of bilingual car people and they have the catchiest theme song ever. More to come...

Java Juiced

The next episode of Off-Mikes launched today and it's all about coffee and the need for caffeine. The episode was promoted on the ESPN.com homepage also. Between ESPN and WWE, Animax Entertainment has the sports market cornered. We also did some animation awhile back for the Buccaneers NFL football team that we'd forgotten to mention. So much going on it's hard to keep up with ourselves sometimes.

Animax is #1

The first episode of the cartoon we created for WWE is the most watched video on the WWE.com site - even more than the Top 10 Most Diva-licious Moments. Now that's saying something.

Dismember the Titan

The next episode of ESPN's Off-Mikes is live: Dismember the Titan. Never ask Greenberg to spot you.

No More Junk Food - Blimey!

This is a huge deal -

UK regulators have banned advertising foods high in fat, salt and sugar around not only children's programming but also for youth-oriented and adult programs which attract a lot of viewers under 16. It's crazy! Imagine no more Fruity Pebbles or Coco Puffs or Gumi Bears or McDonalds or Burger King... the list goes on. The decision follows an earlier agreement with British advertisers banning the use of cartoon characters, licensed characters and celebrities who appeal to children in commercials.

Is the US next?

Thanksgiving is Un-American

Arnold thinks Thanksgiving is a very overrated holiday.

Thanksgiving Asserole

Just in time for the holiday, the first episode of WWE's Mr. McMahon's Kiss My Ass launched today. Animax thinks it's tasty!

Gassy Thanksgiving

After a bit of a delay last week, Mr. McMahon's Kiss My Ass is set to debut tomorrow afternoon on WWE.com. Get ready for a special Thanksgiving episode that will rank right up there with the Peanuts as a classic holliday cartoon.

Arnold On Thanksgiving

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a wishful bone to pick with Thanksgiving.

Malaria Mike

Animax Entertainment has produced a lot of non-profit and health related animated content for University of Texas, Charles R. Drew University and Starlight Starbright among others so we were interested to hear about a festival of old-school medical animation called the Cartoon Medicine Show that went on at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington last month. Some of them are pretty provocative - doubt that they'd be able to play in today's climate, but pretty interesting nonetheless.

Delay of Game

We didn't get a chance to promote the episode yesterday when it launched, but season 3 of ESPN's Off-Mikes is now underway and the second episode was released yesterday. - From Beer to Eternity. Watch the video and vote. It's a crude homage to the classic film Mike & Mike style. Animax of course is in love with it.

What an Ass!

Well, Animax told you last week that a new video would launch yesterday on WWE.com. We also told you that it featured a certain someone who is very hot in the news right now. Let's just say this person is kind of toxic right now and there would be some issues if we released it. So WWE decided to hold off. For now. It'll air at some point just not right this minute. The first episode should come out this Wednesday. In the meantime, read Vince McMahon's and WWE's spin here.

Kiss My Ass

This was a big week for Animax Entertainment. We launched two animated series that we wrote, animated and produced. Earlier in the week, the third season of ESPN's Off-Mikes launched on the ESPN.com homepage. Now, we're launching a brand new original animated series we developed for WWE - World Wrestling Entertainment. And again, it's trumpeted on the homepage of WWE.com. The cartoon series features none other than Mr. McMahon himself along with a very special co-star.

His ass.

Yes, you heard right. Mr. McMahon and his ass take on celebrities and anyone else in need of a smackdown. The series is called Mr. McMahon's Kiss My Ass Club - get a "first crack" at the animation and watch the teaser now. The first episode launches on Wednesday and it's pretty topical, so stay tuned. Can an ass win an Emmy?

In case you missed it the first time we said it: Animax has two shows every Wednesday - Off-Mikes and Mr. McMahon's Kiss My Ass Club.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Animax Entertainment loves this new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse site that Disney just launched. Get ready for Christmas and buy the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD on November 14th. It's the first time Mickey Mouse and his pals are given the 3D animation treatment. The site iteself will change with the seasons so be sure to keep checking in.

Arnold Speaks - Crime

Arnold Schwarzenegger was re-elected and speaks out about crime.

Off-Mikes Season 3 Launches

Animax Entertainment is proud to announce the third season of the Emmy Award winning "Off-Mikes" launched today on the front page of ESPN.com and ESPN Radio with an episode called Casting Slouch where Mike & Mike discuss which actors would play them in the movie version of their lives. Think Mango for Greenie.

Cold Hard Look at Animax

Cold Hard Flash covered the announcement about the Channel Frederator FredEx podcast - and Aaron even used this image from Animax Entertainment's portion of the podcast. Yipee.

Robot Dating on Frederator

Animax Entertainment is featured in the latest Channel Frederator podcast episode. Dubbed FredEx, we were asked to animate a 10 second clip featuring robots and dating. What Kat and Lizzi animated and Barry did is sheer genius. Please make sure your robot watches this episode before he goes on hs next date. Just remember, no means no.
