Best Buy Black Tie

Animax was asked by Ketchum to help write and produce a launch event for Best Buy's newest service offering the Geek Squad Black Tie Service. To introduce the service we wrote a script for the event emcee and for three celebrities who Best Buy felt embodied Protection: Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver), Tanya Roberts (Charlie's Angels and Sheena) and Steven Seagal (of Mojo Priest fame.)

Animax worked with Ketchum in the past on the "Ink Is It" campaign for Kodak and the launch event at SNL Studios which recently won a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America.

First Creativity, Now Create

First we won multiple Creativity Awards. Now Animax Entertainment is proud to announce that we won multiple Create Awards as well. We won for some self promotional pieces we created and also for our client work on the Dippin' Dots Animated Movie Mashup Tool and SocialVibe we made.

Animax & RocketOn

Animax announced at the Virtual Worlds Expo that we've partnered with RocketOn to produce and develop parallel virtual worlds. Read the coverage in Animation Magazine and Kidscreen.

Valley Flash Forms

Valley Flash has been born. A new user group dedicated to Flash and Adobe Flex is forming to address the Flash developer and designer community based in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. The inaugural meeting is happening Tuesday, September 9 from 7pm to 10pm. Any ActionScript developers, Flash designers, Flash animators, Game Programmers, users of Flash and fans of Flash are more than welcome to come to this meeting. The group website is still under development but you can follow the buzz on Twitter. The format is brief speaker sessions - this time focused on character animation and games from speakers from top agencies in LA - followed by a mixer sponsored by Technisource.

You don't need to live or work in the Valley in order to attend the meetings. Everyone is welcome. Right now the meetings will be held at Animax in Van Nuys, CA.
